Dry Summer Weather Has Arrived! We often find irrigation programs set to run every day for twenty minutes. This is terrible for your lawn. Twenty minutes is not long enough for water to reach the roots. But watering every day is too often; the grass doesn’t fully dry out between waterings, which encourages turf disease and soil compaction. Save water and money, and give your lawn the chance to dry out. Your lawn needs water for about 45 minutes 2-3 times a week.
